Eleanor Duckworth

Dancer
Eleanor Duckworth studied ballet until the age of 15, in Halifax, with Irene Apinee, and the Halifax Gotshalks Ballet.
After a 43-year hiatus, she started studying modern dance in a class created in Cambridge, Massachusetts, by Joan Green for people over the age of 55.
Since then, she has studied with Julie Ince Thompson, Bryan Steele, Cornelius Carter, Danny McCusker, Marcus Schulkind,
Risa Steinberg, Liz Lerman, Celeste Miller, Diane Arvanites-Noya, Tommy Neblett, and Margie Gillis.
She has performed in Boston with Ann Carlson, Danny McCusker Prometheus Dance, Back Porch Dance Company, and Screech to a Stop.
Mrs. Duckworth is also a Professor of Education at Harvard University.
