Emily Molnar

Dancer / Choreographer
A graduate of the National Ballet School, Emily Molnar is a former member of the National Ballet of Canada, Ballet British Columbia and the Frankfurt Ballet,
where she performed an extensive repertoire under director William Forsythe. Since 1998 Molnar has created and performed several works as a choreographer and solo artist.
Recent works include: Utterance, for Ballet Mannheim, Carmina Burana, for Alberta Ballet and 4 Flights down, for Cedar Lake Dance.
In September 2005 Molnar was invited to participate in The New York City Choreographic Institute where she worked with dancers from The New York City Ballet.
In 2003, Ms Molnar was named Artist in Residence at the Arts Umbrella, where she also acts as Rehearsal Director for the Apprentice Dance Company and a creative process teacher.
She is currently creating a full-length evening, LifeLines, in collaboration with Gioconda Barbuto and Michael Slobodian as well as a new work for Augsburg Ballet.
