Dances for an iPhone, created, choreographed and produced in New York by Richard Daniels, presents an innovative way to look at and disseminate dance on camera. Mr. Daniels charts new territory in bringing modern dance to a wider audience in this App for iPhones, iPads, iPod Touches. Dances for an iPhone creates a new category of App with purely cultural content. This App allows the viewer to interactively choose from a collection of short dance movies by Richard Daniels, to be issued serially. See Margie's dance on Volume 2. (info).

Yvon Deschamps, Margie Gillis, William Shatner, Howard Shore, Leslee Silverman and Paul Thompson were named the 2011 laureates of the prestigious Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards (GGPAA) for Lifetime Artistic Achievement on May 13, during a ceremony at Rideau Hall.
