Dance Collection Danse (DCD) is thrilled that Margie Gillis has agreed to join us as an Honorary Advisor.
Margie’s contribution to dance over a long and dynamic career places her in exactly the right position to support the legacy of the artform.
Through DCD’s invitation dance artists, writers, scholars, archivists and advocates from across Canada have come on board as Honorary Advisors in support of DCD’s attempts
to reach out further into the national community. Preservation of the artistic record, and the celebration of Canadian theatrical dance history touches many peopl
and provides a greater profile for the depth and breadth of Canada’s rich dance heritage and its contributors.
