Risa Steinberg

Dancer / Choreographer
Risa Steinberg began her training in dance in New York City at the High School of Performing Art and The Juilliard School.
She then danced as a principal with the Jose Limon Dance Company for 11 years.
Focusing on solo dance performance, she first worked with her mentor, Annabelle Gamson.
Ms. Steinberg then developed her solo concert, "A Celebration of Dance" which contains modern American dance repertoire from Isadora Duncan,
to contemporary choreographers.
Ms. Steinberg's 35-year career has concentrated on performing, reconstructing the works of Mr. Limon and teaching dance technique.
She has taught and mentored three generations of dancers and is now a faculty member at The Juilliard School in addition to teaching and performing globally.
